Descrition:
Properties of D2 tool steel:
Excellent hardenability, wear resistance, high temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, deformation is small when thermal treatment.
1.Size Available:
a) Round bar: Dia 16mm-600mm
b) Flat bar: Thickness: 16-500mm Width: 200-1100mm
2. Shaping: Hot forged d2 tool steel/ Hot rolled d2 tool steel
3. Surface condition(d2 tool steel): Black surface/turning/milling/grinding/polishing
4. Annealing Hardness (d2 tool steel): HB255 Max,Hardness after Q+T(quenching+tempering):60-64HRC
Applications:
Application of D2 tool steel:
D2 can be made into various of high precision and long lifetime cold work die, cutting tool, measuring tool, eg. Punching die, cold extrusion die, thread roller, rub thread plate, cold cut knife, precision measuring tool ect.
